This is me for most of our vacation in Italy. Calvin got sick and then me and Harrison got sick. I spent most of the vacation covered in mucus and throw-up and sometimes pee.

And let's not forget the train ride from Venice to Rome where Calvin threw-up on Celine and she just watched even when I was waving a bag in front of her face to catch the barf. The whole train car smelled, but I don't think people noticed because they got used to the smell. Then, when we were getting off the train Harrison was in the Bjorn and I had my hat in front of him ready to put it on my head when he barfed in it. Some girl from the train thought that was pretty funny.

what did you guys have? why did calvin go to the hospital?
he had bronchitis, but with all the traveling he couldn't kick it himself and we felt so bad lugging him around in such a sick state.
we couldn't see a doctor to get a scrip, so we just have to go to the hospital to get one. it wasn't a serious serious emergency, but because we were foreigners and traveling it was the only way to go.
oh -- the second trip was to make sure it wasn't scarlet fever. there were some red marks on his neck (maybe small broken blood vessels) and they thought it might be scarlet fever, so they told us to bring him back in the next morning.
