Reinforcements
So, I need help on a highly sensitive and top secret project! I brought my brothers PS2 out here, so I wouldn't be so bored. I plugged the AV connectors into the TV, but the picture was in black and white. I assume I need some kind of adaptor, but what kind and how can I get it? Does anyone know?

Operation Guppy
As many of you know my back has taken a downward spiral as of last year. I think this was in part due to sitting in a poor designed chair. Today I was able to switch my office chair with a chair in the photocopy room.
I walked down into the basement, to the room with my chair, and when I got there I pointed to my chair and then pointed to the chair next to the two men that run the photocopy machines. They nodded their heads "yes," so I switched the chairs.
A few minutes later, they phoned my office and talked to a Turkish woman and she said that the chair wouldn't fit under the table where they do some of their work.
Tasting victory I was not going to give up that easy, so I acted quickly and went off the grid. I went black ops and stole a green chair from the teacher's lounge and brought it down to the men. They asked me where I got it, and I told them from my office (this communication was mostly done with grunts and gestures), so they let it slide. I will be expecting to get a call any time that will expose my international war crimes.

Under Fire!
After being back for two weeks, I have been reminded of all the things I didn't miss. Since I set foot on the tarmac, I have been attacked for my nationality, religion, and gender. In the words of a great man, "I'm tired of it." It is really difficult being singled out on a daily basis.
One of the biggest battles is that I am the only man in an office of 10 and one of 2 men in a department of 21. On a daily basis I get comments like, "All right ladies...and GENTLMAN" and then everyone looks at me waiting to see my response, and I give a chuckle even though this is my second year and the eightieth time we have all heard the joke.
For the past week I have been dressing like a slob to work, because the kids aren't here, but we had our parents meeting the other day, so I actually wore a tie. As soon as I walked into the office I was getting cat called and whistled at. It is very uncomfortable to enter a room in this way. I think it is funny if I was the one doing this to the women. I would probably get fired.

Shaving Corners
I have been devising ways to save money over the next year, because we were a bit over our budget this past year for a variety of reasons. One way I have found to save money is shaving my own head. Here is how it breaks down, 4 bottles of shampoo 20$, 10 hair cuts 100$. By shaving my own hair I will be saving 120$ for the year. For others who are considering this option to save money, keep in mind it could be more if you usually buy conditioner or hair product. For women, the savings could be in the thousands.

Attack From Above
My wife spends two weeks at the beach with her family every summer and this summer was no exception. I usually try to go down for a lot of the time too, but this summer I was too busy working like a dog and trying to hang out with my brother who I haven't seen for almost three years and won't see for at least another one.
While my wife was at the beach I went and picked up our son for the night, so he could hang with my family a little. I brought him back the next day and was planning on spending the night with him and my wife at the beach house before returning home.
When I got to the beach, my wife was not with her parents on the beach, but down the beach a half mile watching the surfers, so I put Calvin on my shoulders and headed out to meet her. When half-way to our destination I get attacked from aerial bombardment, or what I would call a saturation bombing. Calvin decided to pee on me. I felt a warm, wet sensation running down my neck and back and it took a second to realize I had been hit. Then, a second later Calvin says, "Oh pee pee daddy pee pee!" to which I responded, "Thanks I know."
I actually contemplated hanging out for a while anyway and letting it dry, because pee is sterile right? That was a little too gross for me, which is saying a lot, so I left - pissed off.

The Fight to Be Fat
When I came home for the summer all I heard was, "WOW you got fat." If you were one of the people pointing out my weight don't feel bad, because you weren't the only one. Not only did people at home point it out, but when I saw people in Turkey the first thing they said was, "WOW you put on weight."
I am confused about two things, why are people so concerned about my weight. It seems like a major issue with some people and I honestly don't know why. I probably gained ten pounds in Turkey and another 10 pounds over the summer. So it is not like I gained weight to the point of it being shocking, so why do people seem overly concerned about my weight. Besides, isn't that the natural order of life, you get old and fat, so why can't I enjoy that part of my life? The other thing I am confused about why saying, "WOW you got fat" is not considered rude. That is a comment a little kid makes that doesn't know better. What would happen if I saw a girl and said, "WOW you got fat" I would be hunted down and punished by society and I would end up being on some day time talk show where the crowd would boo me when I came out to defend why I think it is okay to call people fat.
I guess the point is, if I am fat, I like being that way, so thanks for the concern about my weight, but I don't need to hear comments of how fat I am. I am planning on working out a little and eating better, but for the health benefits not the weight loss, but if that translates into weight loss I hope it will help all my concerned fans rest better at night.
It is nice to be back at home and working and into a routine.
